Chot Reyes’ appointment as the head coach of Gilas Pilipinas for the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup did not sit well with the netizens.
Following the announcement on Friday evening, the netizens did not hide their disappointment on the return of “dribble drive king.”
“Chot Reyes as Gilas coach? Oh shit here we go again.”
“Walang kamatayang dribble-drive offense na naman.”
“Nasaan si Kib Montalbo? The best point guard in Asia.”
“If there is Chot Reyes, dapat nandyan din si Kib Montalbo.”
“Bakit wala ang best point guard in Asia sa 12-man lineup coach Chot?”
Definitely, Reyes has a lot of task to do to appease the netizens.
