Netizens move to oust Narvasa with #NarvasaOUT #NarvasaResign
Commissioner Chito Narvasa has come under fire from fans after approving a controversial Kia-San Miguel trade; netizens, including former PBA player Enrico Villanueva join the battle cry.
In a PBA press con, Narvasa announced that he is willing to step away from his post — if proper procedures are followed, while the majority of the PBA Board has agreed not to renew his contract.
Netizens took to Twitter to air their views on Narvasa’s decision in allowing the controversial trade that would send the Kia Picanto’s No. 1 overall pick during the PBA Draft to the San Miguel Beermen.
They believe the PBA belongs to the team owners; but it also belongs to the Filipino basketball fans.
