NLEX still looks good despite the absence of their fiery mentor, Yeng Guiao as they remained unbeaten in two games.

The locals provided a much needed help for their import Olu Ashaolu who is nursing a knee injury that he sustained even before the start of the conference and nab a 123-107 win against newly minted NorthPort.

Seven players scored double-figures for Road Warriors, but still, Ashaolu was still their main man as he tallied 27 points and 13 rebounds.

Mac Tallo and Larry Fonacier both listed 14 apiece, while JR Quiñahan scored 12. Unheralded players Kevin Ighalo and Juami Tiongson was a surprise pick from the bench and finished with 11 and 10 points respectively.

PBA neophyte Rashad Woods showcased his wares with 42 markers, 12 rebounds and eight assists in Northport’s loss. Fil-Tongan Moala Tautuaa also had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
