NorthPort hoping Bolick is alright after hurting his knee
NorthPort is keeping its fingers crossed after star rookie Robert Bolick hurt his knee in the fourth quarter of the Batang Pier’s 127-119 big win over the San Miguel Beermen at the Astrodome on Wednesday night.
Bolick hurt his knee while driving to the basket with 8:06 left in the game.
He was never fielded back but stayed on to finish the game and see NorthPort book its third win in four outings.
Bolick, who finished with 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists, reporytedly went straight to St. Luke’s Hospital in Taguig City to undergo an MRI on his banged-up knee.
NorthPort coach Pido Jarencio said they are hoping that no serious injury was suffered by his prized rookie.
“Ang concern ko ngayon si Robert Bolick,” he said. “Sana wala namang grabe na nangyari.”
