The Tamaraws took control early and built a 26-13 advantage after the opening quarter behind their inside conversions before UP responded with a strong second period to trim the deficit to 43-41 at the half.
The Tamaraws erupted for 32 points in the third period while limiting the Fighting Maroons to just 14, turning the game into a rout and pushing their lead to as many as 25 points at 90-65.
