‘Nothing Is Permanent’ Baser Amer bids farewell to Meralco
Baser Amer officially waved his goodbye to the Meralco Bolts.
Amer was recently traded to Blackwater Bossing together with Bryan Faundo for Mac Belo.
The Davao City-native took on Instagram to pen a farewell message to the Bolts that drafted him 7th overall in the 2015 PBA Draft.
“5 long beautiful years with the Bolts went by so fast. Walang ibang masasabi kung hindi pasasalamat, from boss MVP to the coaches and staff as well as the management and my former teammates,” Amer wrote.
“Grateful for the beautiful ride with this organization, nothing more I could ask for.”
Amer has already started training with the Blackwater squad, but he has nothing but good memories with the Bolts.
After all, it was Meralco who gave him the break as a starting point guard.
“Moving forward with all the memories and learnings as a Bolt. Nothing is permanent especially with this career,” Amer said.
