A revamped ONIC Philippines squad is ready to dominate in the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12.
On Friday, the team released its official roster for Season 12, which is headlined by holdovers Kenneth “Nets” Barro, Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez, and David “Boss A” Gamboa.
The surprise additions are Jomarie “Escalera” Delos Santos, Dean “Raizen” Sumagui, Mark “Kramm” Rusiana, and John “Perkziva” Sumawan. They also have two rookies, Czedrick “Yoshinu” Romero and Jem “Jem” Lanojan.
Escalera and Kramm are former players of TNC Pro Team, while Raizen last played as a jungler for Omega Esports, and Perkziva was a former roamer for RSG Philippines.
The last member of the squad is the returning Ralph “Rapidoot” Adrales. Rapidoot had a spectacular rookie season for ONIC in MPL PH Season 10, before skipping the following season to continue his studies.
With a retooled roster, ONIC is looking to win their first MPL PH title. Their best finish in the tourney is second place, which they achieved three times: in seasons four, five, and eight.
