Paat engineers TIP win over Perpetual



Mylene Paat led the way for the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) to score an easy win against University of Perpetual Help, 25-16, 25-13, 25-15, and get back in the winning column of the ongoing V-League Collegiate Conference.

The win improved their chances to advance in the quarterfinals after tying the second spot with San Sebastian(2-1) in Group A.

Guest player Paat punched in 13 markers off five kills, five aces and three blocks while Chie Saet dished out 20 excellent sets along with nine markers. Gayle Layug added 10 markers while Eunice Mabayao had five aces with her total output of eight.

TIP scored 21 service aces against the Lady Altas which remained winless in the league with a 0-2 win-loss slate.

Lourdes Clemente was the lone bright spot for Perpetual with 12 points.
