Pacers’ Victor Oladipo done for the season, will undergo surgery
Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo will unfortunately miss the rest of the season after suffering a serious injury in the game against Toronto Raptors, Thursday (Manila time).
The team announced that the player is set to have surgery after a terrible fall while chasing Raptors’ Pascal Siakam in a fast break.
As per the statement released by the Indiana Pacers, Oladipo underwent MRI and has been diagnosed with a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee. This kind of injury is extremely challenging to recover from.
Oladipo averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game for the Indiana Pacers.
The next assignment for the Indiana Pacers are the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, January 27 (Manila time). (Janiel Abby Toralba)
