Pacman’s fight vs. Khan killed
The much-anticipated showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan will no longer push through.
This was confirmed by Top Rank head Bob Arum in an interview with ESPN.
The talks did not go well with Pacquiao’s adviser, Michael Koncz, and an investment group, in what is supposed to be a blockbuster event supposedly slated on May 20 in UAE.
“Michael is on his way back to meet with Manny but it’s kaddish for the UAE deal. It’s dead,” Arum said in the interview.
“I’m talking to him about another proposal for another fight, not Khan. Khan won’t be Manny’s next opponent,” Arum added.
Arum is still optimistic that the UAE fight will happen, but on another playdate.
