‘Pacquiao-Crawford’ currently in the works
Top Rank CEO Bob Arum is doing everything to make WBO champion Terrence Crawford and WBA titleholder Manny Pacquiao fight against each other.
“The Pacquiao fight, obviously we’d like to do it,” Arum said BoxingScene. “Whether we can do it, how we can do it, that’s what we’re figuring out now.
Arum said that he has reached out to Crawford’s camp, and it is up to them if they’re down for a match against the eight-division world champion on either November 14 or 21.
“Right now, all we’ve done is we’ve contacted Crawford and ‘BoMac’ [Brian McIntyre, Crawford’s manager/trainer], told them that they’ll fight in November, either the 14th or the 21st, and we’re looking at opponents,” Arum told ESPN.
Regardless if the undefeated American boxer will face Pacquiao or not, he is still set to lace up his gloves on November.
