Pasaway Talaga! Former PBA import Glen Rice Jr. gets cut off from Lithuanian team
Former TNT KaTropa import Glen Rice Jr. just couldn’t get out of trouble.
The son of NBA star Glen Rice was cut off by the Lithuanian ball club called Juventus Utena in just five days for disciplinary actions.
“He’s an unpredictable person who has a lot of problems. We took a risk and it didn’t work out. The circus is over. Now we’re looking for a person, who wants to play basketball, not to fool around,” said Juventus director Eimantas Skersis.
According to reports, Rice Jr. has done a lot of mischievous acts like missing his flights going to Lithuania, ignoring advice to self-isolate until getting his COVID-19 test, attending practice while drunk among others.
This isn’t the first time that Rice Jr. was called out for his unprofessionalism.
Filipino fans remembered Rice Jr.’s meltdown in 2017 PBA Governors’ Cup semifinals against Ginebra when he shoved current NorthPort Batang Pier forward Kevin Ferrer and threw the ball at him right after.
He was also seen arguing with TNT alternate governor Patrick Gregorio at the time which prompted the team to fine him at $10,000.
