Paul George disses James Harden with ‘No Travels’ Step-Back move
Though it has been a successful win for James Harden and Team LeBron in the NBA All-Star Game on Monday (Manila time) over Paul George and Team Giannis 178-164, the Oklahoma City Thunders superstar gave the Houston Rockets guard a move that has been controversial for the current MVP.
When asked by the reporters on the step-back three-pointer he made, George told them, “What move I do? Hit him with his s–t,”.
He even added to the roasting, saying, “… I got that in my package too, so ain’t no travels over here.”
George, having 20 points, tied with Khris Middleton for the second-leading scorer in Team Giannis, after the team captain himself who had 38 points. Harden gave a quiet 12 points for Team LeBron, letting game MVP Kevin Durant get the glory with his 31 points.
George letting Harden get a taste of his own medicine was just as well, considering the both of them are the top picks for the MVP award this season.
Paul George is averaging 28.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists for the Thunders while James Harden averages 36.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists for the Rockets.
The battle will continue between them now that the All-Star break is over. (Janiel Abby Toralba)
