PBA champ Diamon Simpson back for Alaska
By Mark Patriarca
As the PBA playoffs draw near, Alaska Milkmen will field in a new but familiar import as their current reinforcement Antonio Campbell receives a call-up from Orlando Magic for their summer league roster.
Alaska Aces are currently positioned at 2nd spot and will now hope to duplicate their success as they bring in journeyman Diamon Simpson, their import back in 2010 where they became PBA Fiesta Conference champions.
Phoenix coach Louie Alas was one of the firsts who broke the news. It seems like coach Alas was already doing some “scouting” before Alaska formally announced the update as they will face each other this Friday, July 6.

The 30-year old forward last played in the Euroleague for Maccabi Tel Aviv which he appeared for just six games in 2017.
Simpson averaged solid numbers for the Milkmen 8 years ago, collecting 25.0 points, 16.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.3 steals in 36 games plus of course, the coveted PBA trophy.
