The PBA has slapped fines against two players from the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters and one from the San Miguel Beermen for their actions in Game 2 of the Philippine Cup semifinals.
The Beermen ended up with a 92-82 win Monday to grab a 2-0 series edge in the best-of-seven affair.
The league announced the sanctions Tuesday.
San Miguel’s Christian Standhardinger was slapped with P20,000 for his flagrant foul penalty 2 on Phoenix’s Calvin Abueva.
The Fil-Germa was ejected at the 6:10 mark of the second quarter for his action. However, he avoided suspension and will instead render community service.
On the other hand, Abueva and teammate Doug Kramer were ordered to pay P15,000 and P5,000, respectively.
Abueva was fined for flashing his middle finger multiple times, while Kramer for his flagrant foul on San Miguel slotman June Mar Fajardo.
