PBA to file charges vs ‘Spiderman’ streaker

The man in Spiderman costume who streaked into the Game Five of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup Finals between San Miguel and Magnolia Friday night at Araneta Coliseum could face charges following the commotion that delayed the game for minutes.
“Sigurado kakasuhan namin,” PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said moments after the match which the Hotshots won, 88-86, through a Mark Barroca game-winner.
“Hindi pa namin alam ang ikakaso pero napag-usapan na ng legal yan, baka dalawa.”
Marcial said that he will convene with the SMART Araneta Coliseum officials as well as NCRPO chief Guillermo Eleazar as the league now aims to further strengthen the security in games to prevent such cases from happening.
The man, who remained unidentified, maintained that he did not intend to harm anybody after hitting SMB big man June Mar Fajardo with 3:06 left in the fourth quarter — when the defending champs were in the midst of a comeback from a double-digit deficit.
“Ang message ko po ay pagmamahal,” said ‘Spiderman,’ whose identity is yet to be known as of publishing.
“Tapos mananakit ako? ‘Di ko po magagawa.”
