The Philippines is hoping to finish its SEA Games volleyball run with a gold medal as it battles Indonesia in the title match of the 2019 SEA Games on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Silver has been secured with a five-set victory over powerhouse Thailand, but Marck Espejo and Co. are not about to stop.

“Yung pagkapanalo namin against Thailand ito ang gagamitin namin as motivation,” Espejo told reporters.

“Saka siyempre last game na ito, finals na. Ibinuhos na namin sa semifinals so ito finals dito na kami so di na namin papabayaan ito. All-out na talaga.”

Bryan Bagunas is also expected to help carry the scoring load, with support from opposite spikers Johnvic De Guzman and Ranran Abdilla, middle blockers Kim Malabunga, Francis Saura and Rex Intal as well as teen setter Joshua Retamar.

The match is set at 6 pm.
