PH women’s volleyball team grateful for Asiad experience
The Philippine Women’s Volleyball team held their heads high at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games.
Despite getting soaked from the downpour, the cold never bothered them anyway as the team continued to energize the Philippine squad.
Each volleybelles posted their photos waving the Philippine flag with identical captions, saying how blessed they are to represent and compete for the country.
Finishing at 8th place, the future looks even brighter for the team that promises to build greater plays, stronger players and more determination in the next Asiad in 2022.
I am more than grateful for the experience and the learnings that we will bring home from Asian Games. May our efforts and defeats fuel more support to the sport and may these inspire all the volleyball fans to cheer as one as we learn and fight again together 🇵🇭 #AsianGames2018 #LabanPilipinas • New column for Mika’s Block on the Daily Tribune today, link in my bio! 😊
