Philadelphia Edges Minnesota, Ties At No. 1 In East


Philadelphia 76ers moved to a share of the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a 122-113 triumph over Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2020-2021 NBA Season on Saturday at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Tobias Harris top-scored with 34 points, Joel Embiid made his return from injury with 24 markers for the 76ers, which are now tied with Brooklyn Nets with 34-15 slate.

Ben Simmons and Shake Milton contributed 14 markers each, while Seth Curry submitted 13 markers for Philadelphia.

Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 39 points, 16 rebounds and five assists, while rookie Anthony Edwards added 27 markers for the Timberwolves, which slumped to 12-38.

In other results, New York Knicks (25-25) prevailed over Detroit Pistons (14-35), 125-81; Miami Heat (26-24) manhandled Cleveland Cavaliers (17-32), 115-101; and Indiana Pacers (22-26) took down San Antonio Spurs (24-23), 139-133.
