Filipino basketball fans will have another avenue to watch the games of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia beginning this Friday.
Pilipinas Live, the newest innovative OTT streaming platform of Cignal TV, is set to broadcast all the 92 matches live and on demand by subscribing for only PHP 99 per month, an introductory price until September 15.
Matches in the Philippines are to be held at the Philippine Arena, Smart Araneta Coliseum, and SM Mall of Asia Arena in the country, the Okinawa Arena in Japan, and the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta.
Among the highlights of the tournament slated from August 25 to September 10 are host team Gilas Pilipinas, which is to be led by former NBA Sixth Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson.
Aside from Clarkson, some of the world’s biggest basketball stars are also coming out, with the United States leaning on Jalen Brunson and Brandon Ingram as the Americans aim to reclaim their position as the best in the world.
