Pinoy fans jubilate on Hidilyn Diaz’s first SEAG gold
Another winning outing by Hidilyn Diaz!
The Pinay weightlifter star solidified her legendary status by snatching her first-ever gold medal in the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 55-kg weightlifting event on Monday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The 28-year old’s golden performance was extra special, considering that she took centerstage right in front of her home crowd.
Filipino fans also took on social media to congratulate the 2016 Rio Olympics silver medalist for bringing home the bacon.

Diaz secured the first prize by lifting a total of 211-kg, besting silver medalist Thu Nguyen (Vietnam) and bronze medalist Juliana Klarisa (Indonesia).
