RR Pogoy came up with guns blazing on Friday, leading the TNT to an easy 92-78 win over Alaska as the KaTropa stayed in the running for a twice-to-beat advantage for the PBA Philippine Cup playoffs.

Pogoy pumped in 24 points in just over 20 minutes of action in the Cuneta Astrodome floor in Pasay City.

The KaTropa now has won their fourth straight game and rose to 6-3 overall.

Pogoy, who also led the Texters with 28 points in a 127-89 demolition of Blackwater last week, was forced to limp out of the floor with 8:44 left after a physical play for a looseball.

Kelly Williams lorded the boards with 11 rebounds and 9 assists for TNT, which led by as many as 20 points in the one-sided contest.

Troy Rosario added 15 points while TNT franchise player Jason Castro chipped in 8 markers.

The Aces, meanwhile, lost their third straight game and fell to 3-5 (win-loss).
