‘Pumogi Ako’ Allyn Bulanadi makes final year in Baste counts; hopes to make wave in MPBL and PBA
Allyn Bulanadi proves that he could hang among college greats.
The 6-foot-2 made himself known in NCAA with his game averages of league-best 20.3 points, to go with 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals.
From just a kid in Davao, Bulanadi knew that a lot has changed since he arrived with San Sebastian.
“Lalo akong pumogi,” he joked.
Bulanadi had a great five-year stint with the Golden Stags, and he was able to lift the team in the Final Four in his final season.
Unfortunately, Bulanadi saw his college career unfold when Letran knocked out San Sebastian in the stepladder round, 80-85, on Tuesday.
Still, the 22-year old was quite contented with his accomplishments.
Syempre, it was a good run para sa akin.
No days off for Bulanadi, however, as he is about to take his talents in MPBL with the Basilan Steels.
“16 may home game kami against Nueva Ecija. So siguro bukas ensayo na ako bukas,” he said.
Of course, all of Bulanadi’s grind boil down to one goal — which is to enter the upcoming 2019 PBA Draft.
