Purnada Na? McGregor’s showdown with Pacquiao might not happen after Poirier loss
The mega showdown between eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao and UFC fighter Conor McGregor was already bound to happen this year.
Both camps have agreed to a fight after all, and a contract is the only thing that would make it official.
However, the Irishman isn’t that optimistic anymore after he suffered a second round knockout against Dustin Poirier in UFC 257.
“It’s heartbreaking, it’s hard to take. The highest highs and the lowest lows in this game. My leg is completely dead,” McGregor said during the post game press conference.
For now, the UFC star will take some time to recover from his leg injury.
“I wanted to focus on the MMA career but I’m also… Let’s just see what happens. That Manny fight was happening. It was as good as done. [Now] I don’t know.”
