PVL benefits from addition of new teams, says Alyssa Valdez

Creamline Cool Smashers star Alyssa Valdez expressed her belief that the arrival of three new teams signifies a promising future for the Premier Volleyball League.

According to the many-time PVL MVP, the new teams gave more newcomers and veteran volleyball players a chance to showcase their talents.

“It’s nice to see these young and veterans represent different teams. The potential is always there,” Valdez said.

“With more games and exposures, you’ll never know kung gano pa ang itataas ng level ng competition dito sa PVL,” added the former Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles star.

Valdez further said that the new teams present a challenge for her Cool Smashers squad, but they are ready.

“We’re always ready to take on the challenge; we’ll work harder,” said the Cool Smashers team captain.

Foton Tornadoes, Quezon City Gerflor Defenders, and Farm Fresh Foxies are among the new PVL teams in the ongoing Invitational conference.

The three squads have committed to staying in the league for at least three years, according to PVL official Ricky Palou.
