PVL reopening eyed for February 2022
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is eyeing February 2022 for its next conference as its plan to hold another conference in Metro Manila later this year got stalled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
According to PVL commissioner Tonyboy Liao, majority of the volleyball clubs wanted to open the new conference by early next year.
“Most of the club teams want it next year,” Liao said in an interview with The Daily Tribune. “The set-up will depend on the number of (Covid) cases next year.”
The PVL held the Open Conference last June in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte with Philippine Superliga powerhouse Chery Tiggo claiming its first PVL crown by dethroning Creamline.
