Racal Tile Masters open D-League bid on high note, dominate AMA

Racal Tile Masters showed a strong offensive performance in the second quarter of their PBA D-League debut and dominantly rolled past AMA Online Education, 100-67.

Tile Masters notched their first win while AMA remained a winless with a 0-2 slate.
After leading the first frame with six points, Racal banked on the shooting binge of Jonathan Grey, Dexter Maiquez and Raphael Banal which enabled the Tile Masters to pull away with a 19-point advantage in first half. The Titans tried to trim the lead but Racal just kept on widening the scoring distance.

Racal also amassed 23 dimes in the game, which justified the smooth ball movement and good ball distribution their team displayed.

Maiquez led the Tile Masters with 16 points and nine rebounds while Raphael Banal finished with 15 points.

Grey added 13 points, all coming from his gallant first half outing. Robby Celiz also finished the game in double digits with 11 point and six rebounds.

AMA relied on John Ragasa’s 16 points, four rebounds and three assists including Ryan Arambulo and Gene Belleza’s 14 and 13 markers, respectively.
