Gilas Pilipinas used a late-game surge to maul Iran as they closed their campaign in the Heyuan WUS International Basketball Tournament with a win, 63-48, on Monday in China.
Dwight Ramos and Keifer Ravena paced the nationals as they pocketed a 3-1 record in their China stint.
Ramos scored 17 points to go with his 14 rebounds, while Ravena dished out nine points, six dimes, and six boards.
Iran was still in the game with a 46-all deadlock when the Filipinos mounted a blistering 17-2 run highlighted by treys from Ramos and Ravena.
Jamie Malonzo got a double double of 11 points and 14 rebounds, even as AJ Edu collected 12 rebounds on top of eight points and three blocks.
Gilas is set to meet with Jordan Clarkson and Kai Sotto when they return home to Manila.
They are set to battle Montenegro on August 20 and Mexico on August 21 in their final preparations for the FIBA World Cup.
