Rebisco men’s volleyball team drops second game vs Uzbek’s AGMK
Rebisco collapsed at the hands of Uzbek club AGMK, 26-24 23-25, 18-25, 19-25, in the 2021 AVC Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship Saturday at Terminal 21 in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
The Filipinos first claimed the opening salvo in what would turn out to be a hard-fought matchup, only for them to drop the second set in favor of AGMK.
AGMK would continue their onslaught against Rebisco and grabbed the third frame.
The Uzbeks were on their way to a victory in the fourth set, but Rebisco scored two unanswered points in desperation mode, 23-19.
However, Ysay Marasigan and Joshua Umandal gave away the game to the Uzbeks when they made costly errors.
Umandal led Rebiscos 19 points, all coming from attacks.
Bunyod Egamkulov and Bunyodbek Khosinov both scored 18 points for AGMK.
