Neymar Jr. is officially taking his talents to Saudi Arabia.
Football writer Fabrizio Romano reports that the Brazilian star has reached an agreement with Al-Hilal Football Club on a two-year contract, set to remain in effect until June 30, 2025.
According to Romano, the documents of the contract have been checked and approved by the two camps on Monday, and a medical test on Neymar is also scheduled for that day.
Neymar, who will wear his favorite jersey #10 with Al-Hilal, is also scheduled to arrive in Saudi Arabia later this week for his formal presentation.
Al-Hilal also made sure to pay Neymar’s former team, Paris Saint-Germain FC, a releasing fee of around €100 million.
The Saudi-based football team also ruled out the possibility of them loaning Neymar to his former team, FC Barcelona, as some reports are saying.
Neymar is the second football superstar to move to Saudi Arabia after Cristian Ronaldo, who signed with Al-Nassr earlier this year.
