FORMER PBA cager Rico Maierhofer and PBA Motoclub members showed their support for Alexandra Eala as the Filipina tennis star begin her campaign at the US Open.
Maierhofer shared a post from New York expressing his support for Eala, who is set to battle American Mary Stoiana later today.
“Lets go ALEX EALA Alex Eala win win win,” Maierhofer wrote on his Facebook account.
In another post by Maierhofer, he was seen with other ex-PBA Motoclub members JC Intal and Peter June Simon outside the Louis Armstrong Stadium, the venue of Eala’s match.
“We made it to the US Open here in NYC! Excited to watch Alex Eala 🇵🇠Thank you, Lord!” Maierhofer posted.
The support came as Eala competes on the US Open stage, with the former PBA cagers among the Filipino sports figures showing their backing for the rising tennis star. (Adrian Co)
