Rondina, Blaze Spikers extend win streak to 7

Defending champion Petron made a short work of PLDT Home Fibr, 25-19, 25-15, 25-9, to keep its hold of the solo second place in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Sisi Rondina made it to the starting roster and delivered 12 points laced with 20 digs while Aiza Maizo-Pontillas was also instrumental with 10 points for the Blaze Spikers, who cruised to their seventh straight victory.

Middle blockers Mika Reyes and Remy Palma chipped in nine points apiece while Ces Molina added eight markers and had 12 digs.

Rhea Dimaculangan paced the team with 18 excellent sets as Petron tightened its grip of the second place with 9-1 win-loss card.

The Power Hitters struggled in the attack department with only 25 kills contrary to the Blaze Spikers, who waxed hot with 47 hits.

Aiko Urdas had eight points while setter Jasmine Nabor added six markers for the Power Hitters, who dropped to 3-7 card.
