Santiago dominates in Foton’s win over Amy’s Kitchen

Foton’s towering Jaja Santiago lived up to her team’s monicker and stormed her rivals with 15 points in Foton’s 25-14, 25-7, 25-18 win over Amy’s Kitchen in the 2016 Philippine Super Liga (PSL) All-Filipino Conference.

Santiago, a star out of NU, collected her points by playing multiple positions that include: middle blocker to open hitter to opposite hitter.

Santiago also had a lot of help from her friends. Her teammates Cherry Rondina and Carol Cerveza scored six points each, while Patty Orendain, EJ Laure and Angeli Araneta had four markers apiece.

Foton’s defense was also outstanding, limiting Amy’s Kitchen’s offense to 17 kills.

Cindy Imbo and Maribeth Lara were the lone bright spots for Amy’s Kitchen with six points each.

The win improved Foton’s record to two wins against a loss, while Amy’s Kitchen remained winless in three games.
