Scottie Thompson’s road to recovery has taken a huge leap, as the Ginebra guard posted a video where he showed that he is now able to shoot with his injured hand.
In a Facebook reels posted on Sunday, Thompson was seen practicing his three-point shot. In the video, he was knocking down his shots despite shooting with his right hand.
“Slowly getting there!” Thompson wrote in the caption of the video.
Last week, the reigning PBA MVP posted a video where he shared his shooting practice with the use of his left hand. With Thompson now able to use his right hand to shoot three-pointers, it is a welcome development for Gilas as the FIBA World Cup is about to begin later this month.
Thompson sustained a metacarpal fracture in his right hand during the national team’s training camp in Europe last month. The injury sidelined him in the ongoing pocket tournament in China. (MJD)
