SMB comes back from 15 point deficit to beat TNT in Game 5

San Miguel Beer rallied from 15-point hole to hammer a 111-102 win over TNT Katropa in game 5 of the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Trailing 61-46 after the first half, Arwind Santos sparked the Beermen to a blistering 11-0 blast to open the third quarter. SMB eventually took the lead 82-79 on a Chris Ross triple at the end of the period.
The Beermen held on to the lead despite a late TNT comeback in the last two minutes of the game.
Alex Cabagnot paced the Beermen with 28 points while Santos added 27. Import Charles Rhodes had 20 markers.
With the win SMB now leads the finals 3-2 over TNT.
The Beermen can close out the series in Game 6 this coming Sunday, July 2 at The Big Dome.
