San Miguel finally break into the win column of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Friday night at the expense of an import-less Blackwater side, 127-106.

Charles Rhodes held a feast inside for the Beermen by scoring 32 points, grabbing 19 rebounds, and blocking 5 shots as Alex Stepheson was out due to a bum stomach.

It was the first win for the Beermen, who lost their first two games of the conference after winning a fifth straight Philippine Cup championship.

Stepheson left for the U.S. to seek medical treatment and is set to come back on Thursday.

Marcio Lassiter scored a conference-high 29 points while going 9-of-16 from three-point range.

Alex Cabagnot added 19 points, while June Mar Fajardo and Von Pessumal had 12 each for San Miguel.

San Miguel led by as many as 21 points and finished with an impressive 18-of-41 shooting from three-point range.

Blackwater, now with a 5-2 record, was led by rookie Bobby Ray Parks who chalked up 23 points.
