Standhardinger declares eligibility for PBA Annual
Gilas Pilipinas standout and Fil-German Christian Standhardinger has submitted his application to enter the 2017 PBA Annual Draft set on October 29.
The 6-7 Standhardinger leads a talented bunch of Fil-Foreign players who beat the extended deadline set by the PBA Commissioner’s Office today.
The hopefuls include Fil-Americans Jason Perkins, San Beda’s Davon Potts and Fil-Swede Andreas Cahilig who were instrumental in Cignal Hawkeyes’ championship run in the PBA D League.
Standhardinger became instant fan favorite in the Gilas’ line-up after his no-nonsense attitude while playing for the national team in the Jones Cup, FIBA Asia Cup and in the Southeast Asian Games.
Arellano Chiefs and Fil-Canadian Zachary Nichols, Fil-Israeli Felix Apeku and Fil-Americans Robert Herndon and Julian Sargent also beat the deadline.
