Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry feels that he is still at the top of his game at the age of 35.
“I still feel like I’m in the prime of my career, in a sense of what I’m able to accomplish. Just out there and what the future may hold, trying to achieve, hopefully win more championships, and push the envelope as far as I can,” Curry said in an interview with PBS News Hour.
Last season, Curry did not show any sign of slowing down, as he averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game on 42.7 percent shooting from behind the arc.
He scored 50 points to lead the Warriors to a game-seven victory against the Sacramento Kings in the last playoffs. However, his exploits were not enough when Golden State faced the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.
For the upcoming NBA season, Curry will still play alongside longtime teammates Klay Thompson and Draymond Green while welcoming a new backcourt partner in Chris Paul. (MJD)
