Surging Bolts trounce Rain or Shine

The Meralco Bolts kept riding on their momentum, beating Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, 91-82, in the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup, on Sunday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

The match was tied at 74-all with over eight minutes left in the final stretch when Meralco broke away with a 16-3 run.

Meralco would never looked back, as they went away with a win to boost their playoff bid this conference.

Allen Durham collected 19 points, 20 rebounds, and six assists for Meralco. Mike Tolomia added 17, while Cliff Hodge had 14 and 11 rebounds.

Meralco currently has a 4-6 win-loss card.

Norbert Torres scored 16 points in honor of Beau Belga who went down with an injury, while Terrence Watson had 14 and 13 rebounds.

The Elasto Painters fell down to a 2-7 card.
