Tanduay banked on their 29-13 third quarter run and held off AMA despite a huge effort to make a comeback in the last period with a 24-8 bomb.
Rudy Lingganay spearheaded Tanduay’s well distributed scoring with 12 points.
Jaypee Belencion added 10 points and drained three 3-point shots in the game while Reden Celda had eight points.
AMA relied on Gene Belleza and JC Asuncion who both delivered 18 points for their team.
