Terrence Romeo ready to take the wheel from Jayson Castro in TNT
TNT KaTropa finally found the successor to its talisman Jayson Castro and it’s no other than his back court partner at Gilas – Terrence Romeo.
Globalport has agreed to swap Romeo (along with Yousef Taha) for Filipino-Tongan big man Moala Tautuaa, a 2020 first-round pick, and a 2021 second-rounder.
In 12 games in the conference, Castro is averaging 15.58 points, 5.67 rebounds and 5.17 assists.
Romeo will be reunited with his former FEU coach Nash Racela and team mates RR Garcia and Roger Pogoy.
End of an era.
GlobalPort bids goodbye to the longtime face of the franchise. We will always cherish the time you are with us. You’re always in the heart of the Neon Nation. Thank you, Terrence! We wish you all the best! We love you! 💚 @tbvromeo pic.twitter.com/EaucPsED4g
