The TNT Tropang Giga is bringing back Rondae Hollis-Jefferson for the 2023 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, which will kick off on October 15.
TNT governor Ricky Vargas officially confirmed the return of the former NBA player in an interview with The Philippine Star’s Sporting Chance column by Quinito Henson on Tuesday.
Vargas also revealed that Hollis-Jefferson will be serving as one of TNT’s imports for the East Asian Super League this October, where he will join forces with another prominent import player.
Hollis-Jefferson, previously a player for the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors in the NBA, played a pivotal role in leading the Tropang Giga to clinch the 2022–23 PBA Governors’ Cup championship last April.
He also earned the distinction of being awarded the PBA’s Best Import of the Conference in that particular tournament.
