TNT Joshua Smith pays respect for fallen friend Tyler Honeycutt
By Mark Patriarca
Talk and Text import Joshua Smith was carrying a huge baggage in their quarterfinals game against San Miguel bearing the news that his former UCLA teammate Tyler Honeycutt died on a police standoff last July 7.
Honeycutt was reportedly firing shots against police officers, and allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself that was pointed to be the main cause of his demise.
Honeycutt was just only 27 years-old.
Smith payed homage by writing words on his Lebron 15 kicks “UCLA Boys,” where they both became friends and teammate for two years, plus the number 23 which was worn by Honeycutt in his UCLA stint.
