Tuloy na! PBA Christmas double-header features Ginebra v Magnolia, Romeo v Ravena
The Philippine Basketball Association has released its partial schedule for the 2018 Philippine Cup which will start on December 17.
The PBA has confirmed six playing dates in four separate venues with new season to be opened by defending Philippine Cup champion San Miguel Beermen and Phoenxi Fuel Masters at the Araneta Coliseum.
Number 4 draft pick Jason Perkins will make his debut for the Fuel Masters in the season opener. 2017 number one pick Christian Standhardinger will not play for the Beermen until May next year when his contract with the ABL expires.
The PBA has cooked up a must-see double-header on Christmas Day with PBA superstar Terrence Romeo of Globalport facing off with Kiefer “The Phenom” Ravena of NLEX serving as the appetizer to the Ginebra-Magnolia Hotshots main event at the Philippine Arena.
Ravena will make his PBA debut at the San Juan arena on December in a game against Kia Picanto. In the same day, rookies Jeron Teng and Davaon Potts will play their face PBA game as Alaska face off with Magnolia Hotshots and their top rookies Lervin Flores, Joseph Gabayni, and Julian Sargent.
On December 22, Blackwater’s number 3 pick Raymar Jose jumps into the pros in a game against Meralco at the Cuneta Astrodome.
The main game will feature Rain or Shine and its top pick Rey Nambatac and TnT Katropa and its twin rookies Mark Tallo and Jonjon Gabriel.
