UAAP cancels events until March 17
The Board of Managing Directors of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines has decided to extend the suspension of all its events until Tuesday, March 17.
UAAP first announced that all events would be on hild until March 14, but an emergency meeting pushed them to update the extension of cancelled events in order to give every member of the community to some enough time adjust to the current situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19).

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte declared a State of Public Health Emergency on Monday due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the country, which meant that all classes from Metro Manila are suspended starting from March 10 to 14.
The league will also make further announcements on Monday, March 16, regarding the future of UAAP Season 82.
All events starting from College Volleyball, College Football, College Softball, College Baseball, and High School Girls’ Basketball would be affected with the COVID-19 suspension.
