UAAP stars bid farewell to ABS-CBN S&A
The ABS-CBN Sports & Action — the sports department of ABS-CBN Corp. — officially signs off by ceasing operations and laying off workers.
This development was announced on Wednesday after the Congress denied ABS-CBN’s appeal for franchise renewal.
UAAP standouts like former Ateneo spikers Gretchen Ho and Denden Lazaro took on Twitter to bid farewell to the sports channel.
That’s it. ABS-CBN Sports officially signs off. Love you fam @abscbnsports thank you for everything.
