US jury pumabor sa Paradigm kontra kay Manny Pacquiao

A US jury on Wednesday believed that former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao violated his contract with Paradigm Sports Management.

After weeks of testimony from both camps, the jury sided with the sports management in its civil lawsuit against the Filipino boxing icon, according to a report by ABS-CBN News’ Steve Angeles.

Voting 9-3, the jury awarded Paradigm Sports $1.8 million in damages. It also ruled that the Filipino boxing superstar should also return the $3.3 million advance that the firm gave him.

Paradigm had alleged that Pacquiao violated his contract when he allowed other associates to arrange the August 2021 fight between him and Errol Spence.

Yordenis Ugas eventually substituted for an injured Spence in what would eventually be Pacquiao’s final professional fight.

Pacquiao earlier argued that Paradigm had failed to deliver fights or endorsements and maintained that he had the opportunity to pursue fights under his contract with TGB Promotions.
