US Open champ Yuka Saso gives advice to aspiring Filipino golfer
Yuka Saso hopes that her recent historic victory in 76th US Women’s Open will inspire Filipino youths to take up the sport.
As much as the Fil-Japanese wants to see golf become a sensational sport in the country, she also wants to see up and coming golfers to love what they are doing.
“Puso” — that is exactly what the 19-year old displayed in the golf course that led her to become the first-ever Filipina to win a golf major.
Saso’s passion and hard work for the game allowed her to endure countless hours of training to become the best at what she does.
“They need to love what they are trying to do,” she said. “You have to be very sincere. If you are very sincere, you are going to work hard.”
