Victor Oladipo readying himself for next year’s comeback
Though he suffered a ruptured quad tendon last January, Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo is keeping himself busy and using his idle time to get one step closer to recovery.
Oladipo has been the star player for the Pacers but due to his injury, he had to end the season early. He was hailed as the NBA’s Most Improved Player in 2017-18.
Posted by his trainer Micah Lancaster, Olapido has been spotted working on his dribbling skills though he was still in a leg brace. He captioned the video on Instagram: “So proud of this guy! @vicoladipo is different. He’s a role model. Just wait!!!!”
He averaged 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 2018-19. He was also selected in the NBA All-Star game for back-to-back seasons, but was replaced eventually by Brooklyn Nets guard D’Angelo Russell.
The Pacers managed to do well despite Oladipo’s absence. Their team is on a streak winning its last two games and is currently in the third spot of the Eastern Conference with a 40-17 record. (Janiel Abby Toralba)
