WATCH: Coach Roger Gorayeb’s Talks About Being Cancer-Free
For Coach Roger Gorayeb, missing volleyball is an understatement.
But the former UAAP, NCAA and national team head coach needed to let go of coaching to undergo eight cycles of therapy along with four months of dialysis to recover from a cancer in the plasma cells called multiple myeloma.
On Twitter, sports correspondent Dyan Castillejo shared a series of videos of the legendary coach as he talks about his biggest victory outside the court – beating cancer.

Christmas 2019 and Fathers Day 2020 which just passed are most memorable for Coach Gorayeb. Great news on both days.
